In my last blog post, I argued that misotheism can only arise in a climate of eutheism, i.e. under the axiomatic doctrine that God is good (an axiom not necessarily supported by the Bible). The misotheist is someone who is provoked into disagreement and protest by the premise of eutheism. This line of thinking, however, refers only to the common form of eutheism, which is the basis of most God-thinking in mainstream Judeo-Christian theology.
