What's Wrong With Oklahoma's Shariah Ban?

In early November, 70 percent of Oklahoma voters approved changing the state's constitution to instruct state courts to rely on federal and state law when deciding cases and not to use (1) international law or (2) Shariah, the sacred law of Islam. Less than a month later, a federal judge ruled that it is unconstitutional for the Oklahoma voters to so restrict its judges.
