Final Sermon for Rev. Kauffman

Village Trustee Sue Butler had tears in her eyes and engulfed Rev. Lisle Kauffman in a bear hug after the board approved a resolution Monday night honoring the retiring pastor of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Round Lake.

“He’s everyone’s pastor,” said Butler. “They say everyone can be replaced, but he can’t be replaced.”
