Many of the 1 million children who experience divorce each year will not receive the spiritual guidance needed to help overcome the related family challenges, the current issue of Reconsider, a LifeWay Christian Resources publication for leaders of today's black churches, points out in an issue titled, "Ministering to Children of Divorce."
The Reconsider issue addresses the importance of children's ministries in providing comfort, consistency and spiritual development for children going through a difficult time at home.
