The Next Bigot Thing in New York?

Is it me or is bigotry becoming as common as an iPod?

In just the past two weeks, we've seen a garden variety of unabashed, pure hate being spewed at the gay community at the hands of everyone from Michigan's assistant attorney general, to students at prominent universities, down to idiot teenage gang members.

Not to be outdone, on Sunday, New York gubernatorial hopeful Carl Paladino decided to throw his hat into the ring of nominees for the "Nobel Hate Prize." And, oddly enough, he decided to do it while speaking to a group of people who he must've thought would completely agree with his views, since the people he was talking to have never been on the other end of discriminatory violence themselves ... Hasidic Jews. Good one, Carl!
