How 'What Would Jesus Cut?' Misses the Point

Almost everyone agrees that Uncle Sam is a shameless wastrel living beyond his means.  There is less agreement on what to do about it.  “What would Jesus cut?” ask a number of left-wing evangelicals. They answer, ”Not the programs favored by the left.”
